In anticipation of Summer and tomato season, we thought we would share our well-tried and tested raw tomato relish. Perfect, for warm sunny mornings with poached eggs and thick sourdough.
Raw Tomato Relish

Ingredients
- 500g tomatoes - we prefer cherry tomatoes, but whatever you've got growing will work
- 1 jar of semi dried tomatoes
- 2 sprigs of fresh Oregano
- 2 sprigs of fresh Thyme
- ½ cup of fresh Coriander leaves
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 1 onion
- 3 knobs of garlic
- A dash of Tamari sauce
- 1 teaspoon of raw sugar (or coconut sugar)
- A good lashing of salt and pepper
- *If you’ve got it growing - add some ginger or chilli for some extra kick.
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a food processor and blitz for 1 minute, or until finely chopped
- Spoon into a sterilised jar and keep in the fridge for upto 10 days
